The software solution for personnel planning, which is widely used in the event industry and was previously known as "GigPlaner", will in future be marketed and developed under the new name "CrewBrain". This change was announced today by Sven Schlotthauer, managing director of GigPlaner.
The new layout of the software
Besides the new name, CrewBrain offers a completely revised and modernized user interface. The customers get even more possibilities and combinations for personnel overviews in many places. At the same time the new surface offers a very good basis for future extensions and new features thanks to new technologies.
"After almost 8 years of developing and distributing GigPlaner, the time has come for us to take the platform to the next level", comments Sven Schlotthauer on this change. "With CrewBrain we are placing a new, even more internationalized and focused brand for personnel planning in the event industry, while at the same time maintaining the proximity and diversity appreciated by our customers. The new brand identity and the new user interface of our software are a very clear statement for the sustainability of our solution."

The presentation of the new brand under the motto "Crew Management made easy" was originally planned for this week's Prolight + Sound in Frankfurt. "Unfortunately, the new corona virus has put a big crimp in our plans here", regrets Sven Schlotthauer about the cancellation of the event. "Nevertheless, we would now like to take the opportunity to present our innovations this week to the public and, above all, to the events industry, and thus counter the current crisis with positive news".
With CrewBrain companies in the event industry can completely digitalize the entire request and booking process for internal employees, freelancers and service providers. At the same time, the system offers a wide range of options for time recording, travel expenses, accounting and much more. CrewBrain acts as a central platform for all employees of a company and always contains all relevant information for personnel planning.
